About Twickenham

We are a family gym, owned and run by mother and son team Sandra and Tom.  We pride ourselves in knowing all of our members by name and love the wonderful community of members that we have helped create. ​ We run classes, that's all we do, so we do it well.  The variety of classes is limitless, with no two classes the same.

In addition to our adult classes, we offer lots of specialist classes too:

  • New Mums Classes - bring baby too

  • Kids Classes - 3 classes per week for ages 10-15

  • Hyrox Classes - twice weekly dedicated classes

  • Over 60s Classes - it's never too late to start

With a range of classes and no lengthy contracts, our supportive community and expert trainers make every visit worthwhile.  Join us and we'll help you stay motivated and coming back for more.  If you are unable to commit to a membership, we also offer packs of either 5 or 10 classes.

Hyrox Training

We run two dedicated Hyrox classes each week, in addition to our two Competition Club classes and a programmed running session which focusses on interval running for Hyrox​.

Two Weekly Classes

Run on Thursdays at 7:15pm and Sundays at 8am, there training sessions focus on introducing or preparing you for Hyrox - both solo and pairs.

Be Race Ready

We have everything needed for Hyrox – a 10 meter track with 3 Hyrox sleds, wall ball targets, Kettlebells, Concept2 SkiErgs and RowErgs etc.  We will also help you work on your race strategy.

Supportive Community

Train with like minded individuals who are training for Hyrox too.  Maybe even find your next Hyrox partner at Zenith Fitness.

Kids Classes -Twickenham

Our kids' classes are a great introduction to the gym environment and equipment through classes led by expert trainers.  Our classes are suitable for children aged between 10 and 15 years old.

Once signed up, our kids classes are £75 for a pack of 5 classes or £125 for a pack of 10 classes.  You only pay for the classes they attend and they can choose any of our classes each week.

Kids HIIT Class

On Mondays a 5pm we run our kids Shred class, led by an experienced personal trainer, where we get their heart rate up and concentrate on improving their fitness level. This session combines cardio and strength training.

Boxing Gloves

Kids Boxercise

On Wednesdays at 5pm this is a fun class, which combines a high intensity workout with coaching on key boxing moves and techniques using pads, gloves and bags. This class is led by our experienced boxing coach.

Kids Strength Class

On Fridays at 4:30pm we run our kids Lift class, where we concentrate on teaching the children the correct technique for training with free weights. They are taught by an expert personal trainer who will ensure they are using the correct form in a safe environment.

New Mums Classes
Available at Twickenham

These classes are designed to get you back into fitness following childbirth.  You can go at your own pace and baby comes along too.

Mondays & Tuesdays 1:40pm

We are running our New Mums' Classes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 1:40pm each week. You can choose to pay as you go or buy a pack of classes.  You only pay when you attend.

Tailored for New Mums

One of the unique features of this class is that babies are welcome. You can bring your little ones in buggies, carriers, or lay them on blankets nearby — meaning there’s no need to organise childcare. ​This flexible and inclusive setup allows you to focus on your own health and wellbeing without the stress of leaving your baby behind.

Post Natal Qualified Trainer

Led by a postnatal qualified personal trainer, this indoor gym-based class will provide a safe and structured return to exercise after childbirth. With a focus on restoring core strength, improving overall fitness, and supporting mental wellbeing, the sessions will be tailored to suit all ability levels.

Over 60s Class
Available at Twickenham

Designed to keep you mobile longer, these classes are led by an experienced personal trainer, who will adapt everything to your level and help you progress with a personalised plan

Our Over 60s Classes

Calendar

Wednesdays 3pm

This is a new class for us, so we are starting with one class each week.  We will add more if there is demand.

As you progress, you may wish to attend our all adult strength classes too, which are low impact classes.  Many Over 60s already attend these classes. We run 14 classes each week.

Tailored for Over 60s

As we age, our muscle and bone strength diminishes, but this process can be slowed significantly with strength training.

Our classes can help you achieve: 

  • Stronger muscles and bones

  • Better balance and coordination

  • More energy and confidence

  • Staying independent for longer

 

And no, you do not need to be fit already to join in.  We work entirely at your pace.

Experienced Personal Trainer

Tom is passionate about helping improve our members' fitness and strength levels regardless of your age and starting point.

Tom is a patient and knowledgeable trainer, who enjoys working with members who have no gym experience or have mobility issues, as this is where he feels he can have the greatest impact on seeing improvements.
